What to Expect
New here? We would love to get to know you a little better. Join us at a Guest Reception, where you will meet some of us and learn more about New North. We host a Guest Reception every month; come by The HUB near the main entrance to learn more.
From all of Us
Welcome to New North Church
Whether you are brand new to church or not, we want to say welcome! Our hope at New North Church is to create worship services and ministries where you and your children can encounter God in the midst of your life. When you come to our campus on the weekend you can expect the following:
Expect to feel welcome
From the parking lot to the coffee cart to questions you may have at The HUB, friendly people will welcome and guide you.
Expect to be inspired
Our services last about an hour and fifteen minutes. In the service, you’ll hear engaging music led by a talented band followed by 35 minutes of expository teaching based on the Bible and relevant to your life.
Expect your kids to have a fantastic time
If you have kids, we have a place just for them with age-specific lessons about God for kids from infancy through high school.
Expect to be invited deeper
On Sundays we worship as a large group and meeting new people may not be easy. We have found that deep relationships form fastest in small group ministries, and we have a variety of them to choose from.
Many people are curious about what to wear to church
We say “Come as you are” and “Wear what you feel comfortable in.” We are a very diverse church so you might see someone in shorts and flip flops sitting next to someone wearing a blazer.
Our aim is that you would be encouraged by the message, welcomed by our community and aware that God’s grace is here! Plan a visit and we’ll be ready to meet you at the front door, show you around, and answer your questions. Click the link below if you want a New North host to meet you at the door.
Welcome! We are an imperfect community of Jesus followers living on the San Francisco Peninsula. We certainly don't have it all together, but we know the One who does. I hope you will join us on a Sunday morning soon to experience what it means to follow Jesus. Whether you come alone or with your family, you are welcome here. Thanks for stopping by and we hope to meet you soon.
